Joan brings to JDA a wealth of experience in the realms of business
development, coaching, and management/leadership development training
as well as a corporate background in marketing. She focuses on client
and project management responsibilities in addition to helping shape
JDA's efforts in coaching.
In the early 90's Joan was among a group of co-founders of both Coachinc.com, a leading coaching skills training company (where she also served as director of training, ultimately managing a virtual team of 80 trainers worldwide), and the International Coach Federation (ICF), and holds the ICF designation of Master Certified Coach (MCC).
For 12 years she ran a successful coaching practice, working with managers and executives in operations, sales, HR, finance or technology at Sun Trust Bank, The Orlando Sentinel, Lucent Technologies/Cirent Semiconductor, Tupperware (worldwide), Orlando Regional Health System, the Australian Tax Office, Eveready and American Express, among others. She also developed and delivered training programs on over 20 different "soft skill" topics relating to productivity, performance, leadership development and coaching, not only in the US but in France, Canada, Australia and Singapore as well.
Joan comes to JDA from her role as associate director of the Corporate Learning Services division at New York University. There she managed business development and marketing activities designed to expand NYU's opportunities to develop and deliver customized training (based on the university's extraordinary academic assets, courseware and faculty expertise) in the corporate marketplace.
Joan holds both an MBA from SUNY/Binghamton and an MA in human resource management from Rollins College. She lives in Trenton, New Jersey.
